Very tasty pizza - you can forget it was frozen

Advantages: Tasty, thin crispy crust, moist inside, good quality
Disadvantages: Quite expensive if not in promotion

...the supermarket and I saw Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizzas in promotion (2 for £3). I know Dr. Oetker brand from their baking products - it is high quality and usually expensive, but this time it looked like an occasion I couldn't miss. The choice was quite good Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Meat Feast, Funghi (mushroom), Pollo (chicken) and the packaging looked encouraging. I brought home one Funghi and one Pollo pizza. Wanting to taste both, I cut ...
...very appetizing, fits well with Dr. Oetker brand. There isn’t too much text on there either. What I also noticed there is no nutritional information on the box. This might be because the product is German and their packaging usually doesn’t show nutritional information. However, everyone knows pizza is a calorific product with a lot of carbohydrates and fat – this is a no brainer. My experience I didn’t really bother with reading preparation ...

Mmmmm, pizza! I love a deep...... dish!

Advantages: Great taste, quick to make
Disadvantages: Not so cheap when not on special :( High in calories

I purchased a box of these pizzas in the cheese variety from my local Tesco for £1 (special offer at the time). They have been redesigned slightly and are advertised as "full of taste, from brim to base" and I would definitely agree with this claim, they now have even more cheese and sauce than ever! These come in a cardboard box (quick to recycle) and are wrapped in plastic with a paper circle disc base (one side paper, one side metallic) and for ...
...to make sure the bottom of the pizza gets cooked also. They take about 20 minutes in the oven and 3 minutes in the microwave, I would definitely recommend microwave cooking and when I made these in the oven by other half complained that they weren't as nice as they are from the microwave, so I'll know for next time (aren't men helpful!). Each pizza is 170g each in weight and the calories vary from variety, they are normally somewhere between 350 ...

Devout Pizza Lover Approves of this Frozen Pizza

Advantages: Easy to cook, great flavour, great value!
Disadvantages: Almost, but not quite as good as a Dominos. Just as unhealthy.

...heard the advert for this Chicago Town pizza again recently. They claim a survey of people preferred it to a Dominos' and a Pizza Hut take-out. My first thoughts were "Err, I don't think so. I guess its possible if they ordered from the worst Dominos' and Pizza Hut franchises in the country". A few days later I was shopping and decided to give these a try (so the advert worked). I bought a couple (2 for £6 at Tesco) of the Pepperoni ones. ~ What ...
...from most/all the other frozen pizzas because: 1) It comes with a tray which you cook it on, making it so much less messy. You can just slide the pizza from the tray on to your plate once its cooked! 2) You cook it in the oven from cold instead of preheating the oven. This didn't sound right to me however, so I warmed up the oven a little first and then kept an eye on it and served it when it was golden brown. 3) It comes with a generous helping ...

Create you own Adsa Pizza cheap and chearful night in!!

Advantages: great choice, cheaper than a takeaway.
Disadvantages: Long wait, slow service.

As a family we believe in home cooking and generally steer clear of "ready meals" However when it comes to my Girly nights in we almost always grab a couple of Asda's Create your own pizzas from the deli counter. You may have to wait for ages to be served as the station is not very well staffed ( or at least not at my local ASDA) but once you get there you'll find there is a lot of choice. They have their "Extra Special" range or the standard range. ...
...be honest I wouldn't call it Special so we now stick with the standard one. BASES The Standad range has a choise of bases - Deep pan - Thin and Crispy - Stone baked - and Stuffed Crust I have not tried the Stuffed crust which personally does not appeal to me greatly but have tried the other 3. I generally choose the Stone baked or thin and crispy which have a more traditional taste and texture. I must say that as an Italian family the first time ...

GIVE ME MORE.

Advantages: full of flavour-lots for colour- good value
Disadvantages: to small for 2 or more

GoodFellas have done it again. bringing out a new pizza, the new mediterranean pizza has all the flavour and the colour if you are a vegatairian then this is the one for you. it has ripe cherry toms and roasted mixed peppers and courgette, the flavour is to die for, it has a nice thin crust - a little to thin for me but when cooked its soft in the middle and the end is crispy. Not to mention the mozzerella cheese thats goes on the top if the pizza. ...
...on top they mix just right. i do eat meat but when shopping i saw this only to see what its like. i used to be a chef before making my own pizzas and the flavour is just right. the only thing bad is the pizza does not last long with a party going on. next time i look for bigger one. get a film and a med pizza you will not be disapointed ...
