Definitly Worth The "Finest" Label
Advantages: Delicious, versatile, widely available Disadvantages: Slightly Pricey, calories
...huge range; ranging from the Tesco Value range, and then all the way up to the well known brands such as Goodfellas, chicago pizzas, and good old McCains Micro Pizza. But none of these stood out very well, we were about to give up when my eyes caught site of the TESCO FINEST PIZZAS. There were a few different types, Margherita, chicken and mushroom, sausage and pepper, ham mushroom and mascarponie and a tomato and pesto one. My mum told us to choose ... ...with a pizza from the tesco value range and would probably turn there nose up at the tomato chunks in the sauce. I however would definitly reccomend these to people who enjoy a good pizza, need a quick treat and are not in the mood for cooking.
These would also be great cut into smaller sqaures and served up at a party.

Not an exciting pizza
Advantages: OK reliable Tesco quality Disadvantages: A bit bland and boring
I ended up buying one of these rather than my normal pepperoni and was rather disappointed in the product. Not enough cheese for my liking and there could be more herbs on top. Tomato topping is OK and better than el-cheapo versions, but again, I would have have liked more. Pizza base is a pretty personal thing and I've tried pretty well everything from original Italian in Florence to original Chicago in Chicago! Tesco's thin bases tend to crisp ... ...oven is pre-heated well. In general this was an OK pizza for an OK meal (I tend to eat a whole one but do make sure to balance it out with rest of day's eating as they are a bit laden with calories!) but true pizza fanatics forced to buy it are advised to add their favourite "extras" to make it rather more exciting. ...

Whats on my pizza? .Answers in comments please
Advantages: cheap adequette Disadvantages: nothing special
Garlic mushroom pizza from Tesco’s
I wanted something quick and easy for supper and went to the frozen pizza section at Tesco’s and lurking there I found pizza on offer two for £3 not bad price I thought, I can eat one and freeze one. So I bought a thin crust garlic mushroom pizza and a thick crust meat feast. Today I shall tell you about the garlic mushroom one.
It comes in a pretty uninspiring green box with a picture of the pizza; ... ...I opened the box. The price of the pizza is emblazoned across the box £1.69, 2 for £3.
Before I froze one of the pizzas I cut them both in half so we could have a slice of each will tell you about the meat feast another day. The pizza contains milk wheat gluten and yeast so no good for my grandson with dairy intolerance.
This pizza is suitable for vegetarians as the topping is only garlic mushrooms and tomato.
Getting the pizza out of the box ...

The Perfect Pizza
Advantages: Great taste, great convenience food, cheap Disadvantages: Only available at Tesco.
...front which looks delicious! Tesco Pizzeria Margherita is written across the front on the box in green and white writing. On the back is all the usual information such as ingredients and a customer care and comments address and phone number.
Price
These pizza are one of Tesco's long term buy one get one free offers which means that you can buy 2 pizza's for £3 which I think is a very good price really compared to some of the brand named pizzas.
... ...the stone baked range at Tesco which means it is thin and crispy which is great for people (like me) who don't like doughy pizza bases. This stone baked pizza is topped with tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, Emmental, mozzarella, Cheddar and red Cheddar cheeses!
Cooking Instructions
The box states that for best results, always cook from frozen. Place the pizza directly on the top shelf of a pre-heated oven for 14-16 minutes. It does state that times ...

Tesco Alfresco!
Advantages: A quick, nutritious meal; easy to cook. Disadvantages: Not exciting or authentic; expensive for what you get.
...is a little tip for Tesco then for next time!)
The cheeses were generously laid and when it was melted it was over-loaded. I love cheese so that was a nice thing. The sweetness of the mozzarella and the strong cheddar made the perfect match; they gave the right balance to the pizza.
What did my colleagues say about it? Well they ate 90% of the pizza and were about to take mine! I think this is a good sign!
OVERALL OPINION
In my opinion, ... ...to add fewer tomatoes and make the base a little bit thicker. The sauce and the cheese are ok, with the right quantities but again, they need to add some excitement to the pizza with something like garlic for a more authentic taste.
It's good to cook when you are busy, or don't have the time to cook, or even for the weekends when you don't feel like doing anything. Pizzas are also used when you are bored, lonely and heart broken!
