"...whilst i was in my fruits basket obsession. it really does make your day happier and makes life seem so much more jollier. me personally, i really had an urge to just go to the middle of nowhere, lie down and read fruits basket, especailly to Hyde Park! (random, i know)! you follow the life of Tohru Honda and you literally see her life expand as she goes to live with the Sohma family. she learns that they each have different 'characters' within them ..." Fruits basket is the best shojo out there!

AdvantagesEasy and quick to read, fun, funny, engaging

DisadvantagesVery short, the anime doesn't follow, and there are lots of japanese references

"This is my favorite manga! It has everything - drama, romance, comedy and tragedy. If you're looking for a shojo manga that is not too girly this is it. It follows Tohru Honda and the Sohma family.
