Advantages: SMOOTHER AND QUIETER Disadvantages: NOT CHEAP
Total (a well known petrol station here in the UK) which I have used in the past without any problems but unfortunately the price of Citroen's Total oil was £34.99 and well over my budget.
I was beginning to get a little frantic on my Laptop checking all the local car shops to compare the prices, when my sister shouted out "Donovan have you checked out Halfords yet" I must say I hadn't thought of it. So I put on my Timberlands and walked (jogged) to my local Halfords store.
Halfords had plenty of brands and blends of motor oil to choose from including there own make and also had 20% of all engineoil (which was music to my ears). After browsing the shelves there was one oil that shouted out at me and that was the highperformance Mobil Super S 10W-40 Semi Synthetic motor oil5L for £19.99.
I have seen Mobil engineoil ...
Advantages: See review. Disadvantages: None for new engines.
mineral oil for newer engines, but not always recommended for older engines. Syntheticoil has now caught on, and has actually been made by Mobil (exxonMobil) since 1974.
This oil is recommended by most of the major car manufacturers.
5W/30? What does that mean? Right, it is perfectly simple:-
5 - is the viscosity at low temperatures.
W - means it complies with the requirements for winter conditions.
30 - is the viscosity at high temperatures.
So now you know, Gents you may now explain this to your mates in the pub and get street cred, Ladies, you could do the same but I would recommend you stick to talking about kittens or knitting! Sorry.
This oil is NOT recommended for aviation engines, or for any two stroke motors.
If you intend changing your own oil, (and I recommend it, as you will kniow it has been done right) make sure ...
Advantages: Choice of bead width. Doesn't require dispensing gun. Widely available Disadvantages: Smells like the sarsons factory after a catastrophic leak!!!! Can't be used in permanently wet areas.

As well as a new shower, new tiles and new taps, we decided to remove the mouldy old sealant around the sink and bath and replace it with new. For this purpose we chose Unibond's highperformance shower, bath and kitchen sealant.
The main reason we used Unibond is due to the fact that it is a well-known and trusted brand and is also widely available. We purchased ours at B&Q for £3.99 for a 90ml (90g) tube. The other big advantage is that as we do not have a traditional silicone gun, this product can be purchased in an aerosol can, as well as the traditional tube to go inside your gun. The product is available in various sizes including 275ml and 310ml for bigger jobs. We bought the white finish as it fitted best into our bathroom, however translucent ...
