To make my opinion relevant to readers, I'll first need to explain what my hair is like. I have been at war with it my whole life. Left to itself it is wiry, dry and coarse, the individual hairs are very thick. Often it is wavy, sometimes straight, rather unpredictable. If I don't use a good conditioner, it gets frizzy and uncontrolable if I only think about damp weather. It also doesn't help that I have ridiculous amounts of hair. I can hardly ever buy anything simple of the shelf that is strong enough to hold it. I'm half oriental, genetically smooth hair should therefore be a given. This is why I've always felt particularly cheated having willful hair. My hair has always been something I wanted to defeat into submission, into being as it should be, not something to be treated with care. Thanks to Fudge Dynamite things are as they should be now.
Some six years ago I started using straighteners. That alone was like being let out of prison. There was a way to be in control after all. At the same time I started using conditioner. In fact, I'd previously been unaware of the difference conditioner alone can make. Interestingly, one treatment with straighteners lasts me till the next wash, and having dry hair, sometimes washing once a week is all I need. I have used various supermarket brands of conditioner. Most of then worked reasonably well. But none quite eliminated the reaction to dampness. Also, I got tired of having to use a whole range of products to achieve a half decent effect. I prefer things to be simple, rather then using 50 products just to achieve one thing.
Some time ago I went for a haircut, and I was very impressed with the conditioner the hairdresser used. It turned out to be Fudge Dynamite. Thankfully, it was possible to purchase it for home use. Some salon products are not available to the public. I paid £12 for a 125ml bottle. This is quite expensive as a figure, but the conditioner is very concentrated and thick in texture. So apart from the impressive effect, one bottle lasts very long. My hair was chin long at the time. I was instructed to use an amount the size of a hazelnut. For those with more normal quantities of hair, less might be enough. It is to be left in for at least five minutes. Then it should be rinsed out with moderately warm water. This first bottle lasted me nearly a year.
The improvement in hair texture was even noticeable while my hair was still wet. Without conditioner it has an unpleasant wiry texture that gives me goosebumps when I touch it. After rinsing out this Fudge conditioner, it feels immediately silky. At the time the hairdresser used a GHD styling cream that both protects and helps to shape the hair. I bought this too at the time. But I find it leaves hair slightly sticky and even stiff. Also it seems to get greasy sooner than without. This is the case even though I use it sparingly. As the conditioner is so thick, there is a lot of it stuck to the bottle on the inside. So when I can't squeeze out any more, I unscrew the whole lid and add some warm water. Otherwise too much would be wasted.
Considering how well the Fudge product replenishes my hair, I find it usually unnecessary to use a styling product. Not to mention my general preference of using as few products as possible. I'm not encouraging readers to do this. But this is my experience and it works fine for me.
Now I have actually stopped hating my hair thanks to Fudge Dynamite. I'm no longer at its whim and this has had a very positive psychological effect. Even when I don't straighten it, it falls nicely without frizz. On one occasion someone did a demonstration of in innovative type of curler on me. I was amazed that my hair went back to straight within 10 minutes. Apparently the technique is very long lasting on others. But my hair is quite happy doing what I want now by itself. I can literally say that this product has made up for where my genes have let me down.
Another valuable piece of advice from my hairdresser was that it doesn't matter what shampoo one uses. What really matters is the conditioner, so it makes sense to save money on the shampoo. Another real plus is the pleasant smell. There is a slight sweetness to it with a hint of coconut. But after drying the hair the smell fades. This suits me nicely, so that nothing interferes with any perfume I wear.
Everyone's hair is different, this may not be what you need. But considering how effective it is on me, I would recommend the brand for its quality. They have a wide range of products for all hair types. No doubt there will be something to suit your needs. Don't let the regular price put you off. When I finished the first bottle, I found a deal on ebay - four bottles for £18. Some also salons sell online, so it's possible to get the best possible quality for a fraction of the usual price.
Thanks for reading.
PS: I would have given this the highest marks for the specific criteria. But there's always something wrong with this site, it wouldn't let me.

I've also converted about 10 people at work to Fudge when I told them what i used after compliments about my hair! Speaks for itself really...............
I now use fudge the shampoo, fudge the conditioner, head polish and fudgedynamite. All are brilliant! ...
