Advantages smells nice, works

Disadvantages quite pricey, hard to find

FUDGE
-------

Fudge hair products is a range or fairly expensive bubble gum smelling hair products.
I say fairly expensive, prices seem to start from around £7. This is the first Fudge product I've ever tried, mainly because of the price. For over a year I've been on a quest, a quest to find the perfect straightening balm. I've tried everything from Shockwaves to Charles Worthington. My hair is naturally curly, and although I use straighteners, my hair stays straighter for longer when I use a straightening balm. All the products in the Fudge range come in stylish orange and black tubes. This particular product, Fudge Erekt, comes in a 125ml tube. Fudge products are not tested on animals.


PRICE
-------

I paid £8.99 for 125ml of Erekt in my local hair dresser. Fudge is quite hard to find, as it is only sold in salons and online, not in chemists and such. Prices do vary, so I'd advise you to shop around to get the best deal.


THE PRODUCT
-------------

The first thing that hits you about Fudge products is the smell. This product smells like a cross between a peppermint and bubble gum.
The bottle is very stylish, and looks very professional. There are instructions for use, and ingredients on the back, although they are very small, and hard to read.


DIRECTIONS
------------

'Shampoo and towel dry hair. Apply Erekt to palms and rub together emulsify. Distribute evenly through hair with wide tooth comb or brush and blow dry"

So I did. I washed and conditioner my hair. Then I put a blob around the size of a 10 pence piece in my hand and rubbed it through my hair. Then I combed it, and blow dried.


RESULTS
---------

I must say, this did make my hair much straighter. My curls were much looser, and my hair was just slightly wavy, and not curly. It also helped against frizz, as my hair is very thick, and very very frizzy. Once I had straightened my hair I applied a very small amount on to my hair, and my hair stayed straight all day.


OTHER FUDGE
-------------

There are many other products in the Fudge section. Shampoo, conditioner, styling creme and hair spray. There is a Fudge Blonde for blonde hair.


OVERALL
---------

I give this product 4 stars. It would get 5, but the price is a slight let down. It may be pricey but I definitely recommend it. My hair looks and feels great.

    I don't think I want my hair smelling like a fudge factory. I have enough problems with fruit and sweet scented make up products espeically in the summer they attract bees and wasps. Good review
