Fudge For Hair

If you think you've tried every hair care product on the market, from moose’s to waxes, gels to sprays and still can't get a natural looking hold - give fudge a go.

Fudge offers a range of products, the most popular and original being Hair Shaper. This comes in tubs sized either 30ml or 100ml. The larger tub will set you back about £8.95 making this one of the more pricey styling products on the market. However, don't let the price put you off - this is a fantastic product.

The product has an off-white colour and a slightly sticky smooth texture. A little bit can go a long way, provided you apply it to bone dry hair! As the product is water-soluble (which makes it a dream to wash out) it isn't keen on damp hair, rain or humidity. To apply it you need to work a small amount into the palm of your hand then rub your hands over your hair and style as required. This product is great for after the 'just out of bed' look as well as a smart 'go to work' style. However, after application it does leave a sticky trace on your hands that can be annoying if you're in a rush and don't have time to wash them!

The hold looks very soft and natural and provided you don't use excessive amounts, won't leave any visible white trace that some hair products can be accused of. The hold it provides lasts for about 9 hours and softens during the day. It's flexible, so can cope with having a hat pulled over it or the wind blowing through it.

I often carry the smaller tub with me (30ml) just in case I get caught under a fan heater or in the rain and the product washes or heats-out.

My hair is very glassy and grows straight out so I have gone through hundreds of different products (including a recommendation from a friend that cola holds hair!) and I am yet to find something that has all the great properties this does.

One more thing, don't be surprised if people smell your head all day and make 'mmmm' noises, because it smells delicious! (However, it tastes vile!)
