Time to pump up your car with gas as you , explore Fuel, which has the worlds largest ever racing enviroment with a staggering 14,400 square kilometers. The game is set in post global warming America, beset by flooding, hurricanes typhoons and desertifacation, and in these deserted areas racers have gathered, with bikes, buggies, quad bikes, cars and monster trucks, all competing for the chance to win fuel. The gameplay is like most racing games, with checkpoint, cuircut, point to point, timed races, plus helicopter chases to choose between, or you could just cruise around the game, with its great enviromental effects, so far me myslef has experienced, thunder come down and set a tree on fire, crazy dirt pile ups and a typhoon. But as I always say no game is perfect, one of the more annoying desgins is that even though the world in the game is so big it can take up to 7 minutes getting from one place to another, and when all you get is something like a new coat a paint, a question rises, is it really worth it? Once your in a race there is a number of things that can really annoy you, firstly the AI is not really expensive, silly and badly implemented, it will make stupid decisions like trying to climb a hill that it can't and it will just sit there, cranked in full throttle as it digs up dirt, another one is the way the game makes things "challenging", by letting the computer at the front of the race take off at like thousands of miles per hour, and stay ahead for most of the race then near the end, they will slow down a great amount and let you breeze on by to win the race, once you realize this , it is just a matter of time before you become bored of the game, and if you don't win the race, you get nothing even if you come in second, they could at least give us some money , but they don't , first is the best all the time. Now to the good again, besides Fuel single player options the online play can be preety enjoyable, as it ranges from free roam and races, the amount of tracks can be limitless as you can also creat tracks as well. The soundtrack is quite boring and dull as they just play the same mellow tunes over and over again. All in all this game has very impressive graphics, feautures ,and the boundaryless driving adds to the reason I like to the game, but all the other bugs and annoying little things push me away from the game, it is not up to the standards of Grid or Dirt, but it's still worth a try, as the wide world range us truly spectacualar with up to 14,400 squar miles, but I fear is that all this game has going for it alongside the graphics, sadly yes (in my opinion). I give this game 3/5 and if it wasn't for the graphics and track creating for online purposes , i would've given it a 2/5 . This is just my opinion.
