Advantages Advantages Ideal for Pubs and Parties

Disadvantages Disadvantages Proceesing Cost Not Included In Price

Since I own a Digital Camera it had never actually crossed my mind to ever purchase a disposable single use Camera before even though they seem to be increasingly popular and they are even sold in a few of the city centre Pubs where I live. However during a recent visit to my local Asda I spotted a basketful of Fuji Quicksnap Single Use Cameras which were on offer at their special "Roll Back" price of £2.97. The sticker on the front proudly claimed that with this offer would save you £2.00. I am not actually too sure why I even picked one of them up but I did, and judging by the number of ... more

Advantages Advantages good pics, compact, easy to use, reliable

Disadvantages Disadvantages not the cheapest way in the long run as developing and processing costs are not included

Although I do own several cameras, from a couple of SLRs with a selection of lenses and filters thru to a point and click, with a digital camera on the wish-list in the near future, I still tend to use disposable cameras quite often. Now admittedly, they are not the cheapest way of doing things, often costing around the £7 mark, and that of course does not include developing and processing costs. I recently went to a ceilidh (renowned for a good galumphing session) and wanted to take a camera with me, but didn’t have a camera small enough to fit into a trouser pocket that wouldn’t give me an ... more

As I was walking around Tesco's a few months ago, I saw a big basket with a few people crowding round. As you do, I dived in to see what "special offer" was on this time! When I got a first glance, I still wasn't sure, but I eventually clocked on that they were disposable cameras. Fuji QuickSnap Disposable 35mm to be exact. If I remember right (don't quote me on it!) it was around £3, which for a disposable camera, isn't too bad really. Only later did I find out that developing costs wern't included, but that is a different story lol. As it was so cheap, I did fling one in the basket, because ... more

I was milling around in the airport duty free shop waiting for my flight to Bali when I realised, much to my chagrin, that I hadn't packed my camera!! Sheeeeeeeee.... t!! Oh well, let's be philosophical, I'm only going for a couple of days to pick up some shop stock for my mother, mum has plenty of photo's, I'll be too busy to take snap shots... oh who the hell am I kidding? I'll want to take at least a few snaps this being my first trip and all.... Think... look around... DOH! I'm standing in a duty free shop!! Must be able to get a cheap camera here somewhere... digital.. no, too expensive ... more

I had never really considered using a single use camera untill i went to london with my partner and we brought one to take some shots of us together although i wasnt really expecting the photos to turn out very well! so we were really supprised when the pictures were of a pretty good quality! A few weeks ago we spent a week in spain and brought another single use camera as we had forgotton to take our digital one. The camera was excellent as we were able to carry it loose in a bag so that it was easy to take photos but we didnt have to worry about it gettin stolen or damaged as it was no where ... more
