The new thing with cameras is APS. This is basically the new way of taking photos. Although APS cameras are expensive at the moment this is purely because it is the latest thing. Everyone knows that technology is advancing very quickly so the price of APS cameras will soon dip.
Anyway, if you are reading this opinion you are more interested in this camera. My family has rescently bought one of these cameras. It is a small, lightweight camera. If you saw it on the side you wouldn't know it was a camera because of it's case. It is a silver slide over case that covers up the lense. The thing that i love about this is that it makes it even more compact and it looks incredible. You wouldn't have thought that there was space for a battery let alone a film.
We purchased this little camera from Jessops where they have a second hand stall and it cost us £70 reduced from something like £150 and as things currently stand, this is one of the smallest APS cameras available. APS cameras are different because of their size and for one other main reason. The way that the photos are printed. When taking a photo you have three options. You can either have classic, panoramic or portrait. This allows you to take a wider variety of photos. For example if you want to take a picture of a lot of people standing you can uise panoramic because it stretches the photo out.
Although the cost of developing increases to about £8 ponds a time you have a wider variety of photos that come in a compact box instead of a flimsy wallet. Films are a bit more expensive but instead of the regular 24 photographs on a film you get 40 pictures which means not so much of the changing around during trips abroad or on other visits.

If you are reading this opinion and are considering purchasing an APS camera then i reccommend going to Jessops. They have a good service and the staff are generally well informed about the cameras.
