To be honest, this camera is my first and although not my choice it has proven to be very handy.
The camera itself is of average size and weight. The A350 includes all the basic functions - flash, zoom, you are able to change the pixel quality (and it displays how many photo's your memory card can further hold), self timer and different shooting modes e.g.night, sport, landscape.
The camera also allows you to record videos - the length depends on the size of the memory card, which is fairly cheap to buy. However the one that comes with the camera doesn't really prove very useful but at least its a common memory card (XD picture card).
The A350 displays if the camera isn't steady. Another bonus is that after a while the camera's screen switches off if left - saving battery. Talking of batteries i've put I rechargables in mine and they work a treat.
Nevertheless my camera has played up a few times. Not putting the lens back properly and getting stuck. Though saying that I did face it downwards once while switching it on by accident. Anyway... the problem has always fixed itself by me turning it on and off again - though this may be something worth looking into incase it is a common issue!
Although some suggest the picture quality isn't brilliant, I find it is more than excellent for what I need it for, I tend to have to resize my pictures because the quality is so high that when/if putting them on the web the file size is too big.
Overall the camera is good, i'd recommended it due to cost to buy, picture quality and easy-ness to use.

Quite a good review , but I think that it needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. A camera review needs to include lots of detail, including copies of pictures taken with the camera etc I think that you need to write every product Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. It might also be helpful if you had a look at the Ciao guides to writing Reviews and Rating I found them really useful. If I can be of any help feel free to put a note in my gb. Rich
