Fujifilm has successfully developed another good quality digital camera, this time for the beginner. With its 3x Optical Zoom, you get a great zoom function without any loss of quality, and if a further zoom is required you can take advantage of the further 4.1x Digital Zoom, delivering an overall zoom of 12.2x. With its 5.2 MegaPixel quality, you are garunteed a high quality (2592 x 1944) resolution, which can be altered to 3 MegaPixel to 2MegaPixel, right down to 0.3 MP to conserve Memory Card space. The A370 will not blow you away, let's set that straight first. It will however meet the average consumers' needs. This camera takes pictures of a good quality 5.2 megapixels at a fine or normal quality. It also takes very basic videos should you feel the urge. This camera does however not have a calender display so you can easily see, in a pretty manner, when you took your photos; of course details are displayed with each picture but neither the less this is a clear example of the shortfall in the menu's presentation and its options. With a miniscule budget for a new digital camera, I headed into my local PC World to choose one, fancying myself as a bit of a professional some 12 months ago. The sales clerk recommended the Fuji A370 to match my budget and experience and initially I was very happy with it. Having said this, I had no previous experience of using a digital camera. I bought this brand digital camera mainly for the personal use last year. At the first time I did not want to buy this brand. At that time I thought about buying the cannon or sony digital camera. But campared the price and the quality mainly the mega pixel and the option zoom, I chose this type of the camera. Every time I used the camera to take pic, I felt very good when I watched the pic.
