Advantages: easy to use excellent quality pics Disadvantages: pauses and drains battery
It is very easy to use, you turn it on and press the button on top it takes the picture you plug it in to your computer (you dont even need to use the disk it comes with if you dont want too!) and it is as simple as that! The picture quality (4.1mp) is excellent dont be rely on high mega pixels for a camera as higher isnt always better! The pictures are clear and if you get them printed they look really good too! I have had this camera for over a ... ...with a camera with higher pixels for twice the cost! I got this from asda for about 60 pounds i believe they still sell it for about 50 now. If you have never used a digital camera before i would recommend this as a first buy! It has menus with different features, incl shooting mode options, quality options (makes a difference to the memory), self timer, and setup. It has an optional flash, and video with no sound. Advantages: User friendly, excellent value for money. Disadvantages: Defaults to LCD display unecessarily using up battery power.
This is a wonderful entry level digital camera. I put off the purchase of a digital camera for ages before I finally settled on the A400 after plenty of research.
DO NOT be fooled by a camera boasting 6, 7 or 8 million mega pixel photo quality. Any digital camera is only as good as the lens it has fitted. Mega pixels really only count when you come to print your photos. The A400 has a good quality 3x fujinon technology lens coupled with a perfectly ... ...compact enough to fit neatly into most trouser pockets, unless you still wear really tight jeans. The LCD screen is 1.8" in size, which is smaller than many digital cameras being produced today but is suitable to frame any picture and take video effectively. Being LCD technology, you have to look directly at it to see a clear picture. If you view the screen from an angle or with the sun directly behind you, the images are harder to make out and frame.

Advantages: Simplicity, Ease of Use, Good Price Disadvantages: Low Pixel count, Shutter Lag
An easy to use budget camera. it's my first digital camera purchase, and I've been very pleased with it so far. For snaps and even some more detailed work, I've found it more than adequate.
I've read in previous reviews that the battery life is poor, but with rechargeables I have had no problems at all. There is a slight shutter lag, so sporting and action pictures may suffer a little, but for the money it is an excellent entry-level product. It ...

Advantages: Affordable price, compact and fits in your pocket, great battery life Disadvantages: Videos limited in length, uses expensive xD cards for storage
My family bought me a Fujifilm FinePix A400 for my birthday little over two years ago, and I find that I use it quite a lot. It's a powerful and portable digital camera. It fits very snugly in my pocket, and as the battery life is very reasonable, I often find myself whipping it out and taking photographs.
The photo resolution is 4.1 mega pixels, which means your photographs normally turn out very high quality and your photos have a high enough ... ...promotional work for websites and companies.
The camera is also capable of taking short video clips, however these are of a very small frame rate and resolution and do not contain audio. These are also limited to a minute each, but you can easily stitch them together on your home computer.
An affordable, useful camera. It makes a great gift and is very useful for family events. Buy it - it's so cheap you can't possibly make a loss! ...
