I have recently been bought the Fuji E500 Digital Camera a as a Birthday present and i love it. Before this i had a Kodak Camera which was a basic point and shoot camera. Very boring whn taking pictures. This Fuji looks great has all the features of a bigger more professional camera but is a great low price. I got mine off 7 day shop for £124, What a bargain. In all High Street Stores it is priced around £200. Lets get down to the features: 4 megapixels 3.6 optical zoom 3.2 digital zoom video recording with sound 15 different picture modes: landscape, portrait, night time, sport, to name but a few Built in flash Takes XD Cards (recommend you buy them from 7 day shop also) USB Cable so that it can be hooked up to Computers Comes with an AV Lead so it can be plugged into TV's Comes with a Wrist Strap and cradle which holds it when downloading your photos to the PC. Fuji Software. Software is very good it has great ways to manipulate your photos. Bilt in Flash with red eye reduction Can be Manual or Auto Focus Can change the megapixel setting Date and Time stamps photos if wanted Also you can add extra lenses (priced around £50 - £60 each) and filters to enhance your pictures. This you can't do with most other digital cameras priced in this range.
Definately worth the money. I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants an excellent digital camera but doesn't want or have the money for a big £500 one.
My dad has the Fuji Pro and the Fuji E500 does near enough everything that the Pro one does.
