This Fujifilm F40d digital camera is, in my opinion, a great choice of camera for any occassion. It is compact, light, looks great, has a large LCD screen, 8.3 megapixels and has face-detection technology.

I used this camera for a three week holiday to South Africa and only had to charge it twice. It stood up to a full day of photo taking on safari, and with a good zoom function, was able to capture some great shots.

Back home, it has been taken on many a night out and has always produced good photos from my point of view. It has also withstood the usual wear and tear well.

With different settings that include portrait, landscape, sunset, fireworks, flower, snow, sport and night, it has always produced good quality photographs.

All in all, I found it to be a great camera for my level of usage. It has been robust, but at the same time lightweight, all while producing some great every day and holiday snaps - an excellent point and shoot camera.
