I bought this camera around 2 months ago and this simply changed the way I used to do photography. This is my third digital camera after Cannon and Minolta, but I ranked it top among what I bought before simply because of range of features it supports, good design, wider LCD, high resolution etc.
Here are few of them
HIGH IMAGE RESOLUTION: The 6.3mp resolution gives you added advantage gives you an excellent picture and printable quality
SUPER FAST STARTUP Startup time is really fast and ready to shoot with extended zoom real quickly. I had 2 digital cameras before, but this is simply amazing. You just can press the startup button and it is ready to shoot within seconds.
AMAZING LCD DISPLAY: This is probably one of the most important features which separate it from other cameras. It has got a wide and standard mode setting. Sometimes you want to have your landscape picture a little bit wider and then here is the one for you.
GOOD BOTH FOR AMATEUR AND PRO This camera allows you to control aperture, shutter speed so that you can take different picture in low light conditions or take an action pictures giving you full control on your photos. Remember that people make good pictures not the camera. Therefore more control you have on your camera, more easily to experiment and improve your skills.
FORCED FLASH There is a popup flash which gives you ability to force flash when required.
HIGH OPTICAL ZOOM: It has got high optical zoom worth of 4X as compared to normal 3X zoom
Other: - It comes with a docking set for USB connection, recharging, connecting to TV. - It has got direct PictBridge compatibility means you can take a print out without using PC, on a PictBridge compatible printer. - It supports XD Cards means you can buy a 512 MB XD card(though bit expensive) and have more than 500 pictures (depending about quality it could be higher as well) stored without worrying about downloading picture every now and then.
DISADVANTAGES: - It consumes a lot of battery when you use flash. But camera comes with chargeable battery and charger inbuilt , so you don’t have to worry about this.
- It takes some time to be familiar with advanced functions of camera. There are not many short keys to help this out. But the interfaces are good.
