Fujifilm is renowned for its quality and this little camera almost reflects that. It has different scenes from portrait to baby skin to nighttime. The quality is not bad. Actually it’s pretty decent. If you shoot in a pretty decent light then you get quite HD quality pics. But in bad light, then obviously it would suck. You can then choose to go through all the different scenes to get a good picture depending on the light. My SLR digital camera is simply to big to slip in a pocket, and I found I was missing many potential shots when out with friends and family. I therefore decided to by a small camera that was much more portable, and having previously owned Fujifilm models, finally settled on this little gem. It isn't going to break any records with its 5X zoom, but that's not what I bought it for. For most social gatherings, 5X magnification is more than sufficient. I love this camera and I think the picture quality is amazing, the only downside to recording is the sound. It doesnt pick up sound as good as I ould like it to and when you liten to yourself or other people on the somputer the sound is not the best but bearable. The only thing bad about the actual camera itself is that compartment falp/ clip/ where you put the battery and memory card is very bad quality is look very weak and doesn look very stable.
