Fujifilm Finepix S5700.
This is a very fine digital camera at MY price! The moment I set eyes on this one, I was really very impressed. The features on this model are unbelievable. Just look at the specification to see what I mean. It is an easy camera to use. In Auto mode, simply great and for the experienced photographer the manual mode is excellent. I love this camera so much that I would buy two of them!! It handles well, all the important buttons are well sited, to me this is very important.I say that this is a good buy for someone wanting that bit more, or in this case, a lot more, to have the ownership of a Pro camera is a dream come true. Yes it is larger than a pocket digital camera and does not fit in your pocket easily. How many true photographers carry pocket sized Digital cameras? Well I used to do that and with reasonable results - but I am just a hobbiest photographer and not a professional. I just wanted more and better results.
When I saw the beautiful results from this Fujifilm gem the Finepix S5700, I knew this would fill the bill and it has. My best camera buy in 15 years I am certain. The price is right and the specifications are excellent. There are all sorts of add-ons such as lenses and specially made cases for it.Added information: This is not only a camera with a more than adequet sized viewing screen but also is an SLR too! (Single Lens Reflex). A small point I would like to make is that as a VIDEO camera too, it is also extemely good. The pictures are crystal clear and the camera has an anti-hand-shake feature too.
A small minus, and it is small. In Auto-flash mode, be aware that the flash unit is at the top of the body and I for one have been caught out a few times by the auto opening of the flash unit when taking a picture. Hand in the way!!! Mmmmm! I needed to become aware of this.I have no doubt in the virtues of this beautiful camera and am so pleased with it and at a great price too. This camera is very much worth your consideration if you are looking to buy a camera similar to the specifications of this make/model in the near future.
