This DSLR camera was over £1000 when it first came on the market. Now it is under £500 and it is a bargin of a DSLR for the money.
It shares a body with the Nikon D200. Because of this it can be used with Nikon Lens' and D200 accessories.
It uses Compact Flash memory, and has a cache ram for 7 shots.
The camera is quite big, heavy and bulky so is not the best of cameras for taking on holiday etc. But the quality of the pictures is excellant.
It can be used as fully automatic and basicly just point and shoot but for the best results I've found that the manual settings (if you can be bothered using them) gives the best results.
