Advantages Huge Zoom, Great Picture quality, easy to use

Disadvantages A bit heavy, price

This is a great camera it is 8.0MP although this is not as much as some cameras you could buy that cost less, it makes up for this in the quality you get. The colours are very realistic and captures the depth and true light recreated. There are several settings for different locations and pictures you take such as flower, Party, Beach, Sunset, Auction, Portrait, Night, Fireworks,Snow, Museum, Text and Sport.
It also has a macro mode a setting for natural light a mode for flash a face detection mode and a digital picture stabilisation mode also. also features auto focus and infra red to get the right light settings as well. the pop up flash is very bright and the night mode will easily light up your night time photos
You can also you it in manual were you can adjust the light and shutter sensitivity. It will take moves with sound and in a decent watch able quality.
The picture quality is very good and can hook up to a tv to share pictures and moves done very simply by plug-in 1 lead that is supplied in the box and then there you have pictures on tv and also hooks up to pc with the supplied software and lead you can the transfer all of the photos to pc. It has quite a quick start up too about 2-3 seconds. this is operated by 4 aa batteries I can highly recommend Energizer lithium batteries if you are using this as i did i took a few moves and just under 700 photos on the highest quality! as for memory card it will take fujifilms own and SD or high capacity SD Cards up to 4 GB which is enough room for about 2000 photos at the highest quality but if you lower the quality you will be able to take a few hundred moore.
The quality settings vary but even though the quality is reduced it is still a great quality.
The zoom is 18X optical and 6X Digital as the optical zoom zooms in there is very little un noticeable really image loss only lost when digital comes in.

Well I hope that is all you need to know I would recommend this camera to anyone
