SPEC
IMAGE QUALITY: It does have good points however. 7.2 Megapixels isn't bad for the price. The Optical Zoom is a slightly below-average 3x, with a respectable 4.8 Digital Zoom. Most features, however, are only standard - nothing unusual. This isn't surprising considering the relatively low price, but it's not good - like I say - if you know you want to own the camera for a long time. The camera offers just two image modes, Normal and Fine. FLASH: Several modes, including the very useful red-eye reduction. SHUTTER SPEED: Relatively slow: stated as 0.6 frames per second, but feels a lot slower.
DISPLAY: LCD is smaller than the average (2.7") at two point five inches and a measly 150,000 pixels.
FILM RECORDING: Built-in internal microphone with mono sound (basic). Only two lenghts of film capture available - max 60 or max 96 seconds.
ACCESSORIES: Battery is included - a Fujifilm NP-45. This is one of the cheapest batteries to replace, which is worth remembering (especially as this camera's only really good as a budget buy). Two cables are included: A/V and USB (the camera is USB 2.0 compatible). Nothing special there. NB: Annoyingly, there is no carry case (this always annoys me - if you order, not including a carrying case means the possibility of a second order which lets companies make more money off you through increased shipping costs. The camera comes with 54MB internal memory, and NO memory card in addition.
DIMENSIONS: Approx 2 x 6 x 11 cm. WEIGHT: 110 g on scales.
ANYTHING UNUSUAL? : Does give you the slightly unusual option of an extra-long self-timer (20 seconds as well as the standard 10 seconds that you find on most cameras). Face detection is a nice extra on a camera of this quality.
VERDICT
This is a cheap(ish) and cheerful digicam that's practically a budget fashion accessory to boot. See, for example, the shiny, colourful finish: different suppliers will offer you different colours (I've found green @ BT, red @ dabs.com and pink @ amazon marketplace), but don't make the mistake of thinking that this is a camera for serious photographers. It's just not. If you know you only want something to look good, then get this camera - but if you want a camera that will grow with your skill, revealing new features as you increase in confidence, then this isn't for you.
PRICE
More than about £110 is a rip-off; factor in carry-case costs before you choose a supplier. Also, check your supplier stocks the colour that you want!
I love this camera! I was bought it as a present from a photography obsessed relative and he wouldn't buy me rubbish.
The package: digital FinePix camera Z10fd, Li-on battery NP-45, battery charger, handy strap, USB cable, A/V cable, CD-ROM and manual.
Technical part: works on windows Vista, XP home, XP Pro, 2000 Pro. 7.2 mega pixals, 3x optical zoom and 2.5 incg LCD screen
Handy extras (not supplied) - XD picture memory card and carry case.
... ...pictures and a carry case would be nice although I don't use one as it's small and light enough to fit in the pocket of my handbag.
Not being a camera person and never really using one before I found this easy to set up and install on my PC. The menus are easy to navigate and there is a more than ample choice of shooting modes (manual, auto, portrait, landscape, party, sport, anti-blur and more) for what ever you are taking pictures of. It is also ...

Advantages: Great range of colours, not too expensive, very easy to use Disadvantages: Needs external memory card and does not come with a case included
My boyfriend bougt me this camera as a birthday present last year, and I absolutely love it! I have it in orange, although I think all the colours look equally good. It's really easy to use, and the software that comes with it for your computer is also easy to install and use. The battery life seems very good. I did have to buy an external memory card for this camera as it only held about 20 pictures without it. It has loads of different modes and ...

Advantages: Colours are variable, expandable memory, useful settings Disadvantages: IR function pretty much never used, limited internal memory.
I purchased this camera about a year ago, fed up of relying on my mobile phone when I needed snaps. Its 7.2MP and in my opinion produces some decent quality images when on the right setting. The settings include: museum (which turns of sound and flash), snow (ideal for really bright conditions) and sport (also good for images, with a slightly quicker shutter speed). There is also an auto setting which will adjust things for you but if you want the ... ...the additional functions. The battery life is really very impressive, I took it to a music festival last year and it lasted 5 days and took over 300 pictures. The zoom on the camera was also very well adapted for such an environment where you aren't always as close to the action was you would like to be but still want decent photos. The internal memory only holds 19 pictures so I would recommend purchasing additional memory cards, but this is only ...

Advantages: Small enough to fit into your bag/pocket, looks modern and funky, easy to use. Disadvantages: No camera case.,
WOW - This petite pink camera is a must for any young person who is looking for a easy to use digital camera. They come in many different colours which makes them look modern and funky, great for the younger generation although just as good for anyone.
The camera is very easy to use and it takes a lovely picture. As a video camera again it is easy to use and picture quality is good. The camera is lightweight and petite so it easily fits into ur ... ...if you shop around i purchased a pink one which was really good value for money and the camera sits snuggly into it- perfect. Included with the camera is a camera strap, recharageble battery, battery charger, a A/V cable, a USB cable and a cd-rom . If you upload a picture the camera uploads all the pictures rather than just being able to upload just the one, as most other cameras do the same.
In my opinion i would recommend this camera , for looks, ...

Advantages: Amazing durability, reliable, good value for money Disadvantages: Probably not appropriate for advanced photographers
I have owned this camera for over a year and am still using it! The cameras I used before purchasing this one were all of quite poor durability (although i never used a case which probably didn't help) - they all broke within months. This neat little pink camera, however, has been knocked around my bag many times without a camera case and still works perfectly! The price is very reasonable - at full price, it is orginially around £130, although I ... ...value for money. The camera has a wide variety of settings, including, portrait, nighttime and anti-blur. There is also movie mode feature and voice recording features available. Other handy features include face recognition, a variety of flash settings and display options such as black and white and framing. The camera comes in several different colours - pink, blue and black are a few. This camera is very easy to use, with a detailed instruction ...
