For the price, you can't go wrong with this camera. The pictures it takes are as good as most cameras twice the price. That's the number one advantage of this camera, and the reason I bought it.
It's extremely small and light, allowing me to carry it around in my pocket (just wrapped in a sunglasses pouch to protect the superb large screen) and take happy snaps at will. Turning it on is a matter of sliding the lens cover across, and you can take photos or videos without even changing the mode - there are 2 separate shutter buttons so it's just a case of pressing the right one! You can switch between shooting modes with only a couple of button presses, and the flash settings are on one easy to access button. There are some good shooting modes, and it's easy enough to use the manual settings after a little bit of reading up.
I like the way this camera has a 3X optical zoom but no stick out lens to get broken off - this lens is safely sealed inside the camera.
Reviewing has been taken a step further with the ability to zoom out so far that you can fit over 100 photos on the screen! No more scrolling through pages of pictures, you can pick out photos in seconds. You can also view slideshows of your pictures, and even set the transition mode for this.
The computer software is easy to install and use, although it does reproduce photos several times over, filling up your hard drive, unless you delete them from the camera. That's more an issue with the Fuji Software than the camera itself.

I'm not a professional photographer so when I look for a digital camera I look for something that is easy to use and operate and that produces decent pictures under all conditions. I bought this camera because I wanted something smaller than my previous camera which had become a bit like a breezeblock in comparison to all of the cameras on the market now. Advantages: Good value for money as quality of photos is good and it also looks great! Disadvantages: The flash is too strong and red-eye is a problem.
I personally would reccomend this camera for a person who wants a small and light camera to fit into their handbag which looks fashionable - and attracts people to say 'Wow, where did you get that camera from? it's such a nice colour!'
Okay onto more serious stuff now, the only problem I have found with this camera is over-exposure - the flash is way too strong. I know this from experience as I was taking photos in a club and the people in them ... ...is a problem, there may be a way to reduce this on the camera but I haven't found it yet and I have had it for a couple of months now.
But, really they are the only faults I have found - the photos are of good quality and i would say the camera is great value for money.
I personally don't think the problems overcome the fact that the camera looks great and is a good price. You can always edit the photos on the computer if you are not completly ...

This is without a doubt the best camera I have owned.
I have the pink model, a beautifully designed camera available in a wide range of gorgeous colours.
Camera can easily fit into any bag it is so compact and light.
Pictures turn out excellent quality. Camera itself is veryyyy easy to use as are its functions including face detection and red-eye remover.
Battery life of the camera is also very long, despite the battery not taking long to charge!
