I recently purchased this camera to take on my action packed vacation to Australia. Since being here I have white-water rafted and tried to learn surfing! I now have some great snaps to remember this by thanks to this Fujifilm camera. I would certainly recommend it as the price is competitive.
Although there are better looking cameras available, not many will offer the same services as the Z33WP. Many people may choose to buy a waterproof container for their camera but this isn't practical. It is definately an advantage that the camera is small enough and light enough to be placed in a handbag or even your pocket when your'e out and about. It is also reasurring to know that if you have children, they can be handling it without too much care and the camera will survive.
Advantages: Waterproof, Ideal for sports, Holiday use and Bright conditions. Disadvantages: Even with the flash doesn't perform well in Low Light Conditions.
This is a great little camera, depending on what you are planning on using for that is. As the WP part of the model states this is 100% Waterproof, so basically it is aimed at both the family/holiday consumers as well as the accident prone individuals. I have also found it to be reasonably durable when dropped, the only part that scratched quick is the screen but haven't had any problems with the casing it self. The picture quality is great in Bright ... ...sensor the pictures can be blown up to A4 size without looking grainy which is great. The only down side with the picture quality is when in low light conditions, for some reason the photos look grainy and weird looking due to the flash picking up every speck of dust in the air. The Macro feature that comes on the camera is great, works amazing as long as the flash isn't on. Whilst in Water the camera performs well, the lens has some sort of Slick ...
