Fujifilm Instax 100

Advantages: It has a small LCD to show how many pictures you have left, a two zone focus, a lowlight automatic flash, a wide picture format the lens extends from the body, when switched on and retracts when you turn it off
Disadvantages: Unfortunately it doesn't have a timer, which would have been a useful addition, can only use Fujifilm Instax film packs!

For as long as I have known, I have always wanted an instant camera and I thought I would end up buying a Polaroid. However, on a visit to the Argos catalogue shop I noticed another instant camera, the Instax 100 - made by Fujifilm. Despite Polaroid's dominance in this niché market, it looks like Fujifilm may have beaten them at their own game. I bought the "Big Party" pack, which comprises of the camera, a black carry case, four "AA" (Pen width) batteries, a shoulder strap and two packs of 10 picture film. The camera is large and seems too bulky at first, but you soon get used to it. The instructions are easy to follow and you will find you are ready in no time at all. The features were the first things which drew me to this camera. It has a small LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) to show how many pictures you have left, a two ...

Fuji FinePix F200EXR - The Party Animal's camera

Advantages: Low-light capability, Auto-focus is brilliant
Disadvantages: Awkward menus, Slow start-up

Much has been made in recent years if the quality of low-light/high ISO images produced by the Fuji FinePix F30 and F31d cameras - and rightly so. By not trying to cram more and more pixels onto their sensor, Fuji have been able to concentrate on getting better performance out of the ones that are already there and the 6mp cameras certainly make the most of the available light. This tradition has been upheld with the development of the EXR sensor and the release of the F200EXR - a serious compact camera, with a serious price tag of around £330 (RRP). It is basically an old Fuji FinePix F100fd with the new EXR sensor. It is a different colour but there aren't many other differences on the surface. What is EXR Technology? If I could answer that, I'd be considerably richer than I am! As I understand it, it is all to do with the way ...

Fujifilm - Bringing the world to life

Advantages: Superb image quality, excellent battery life, no loss of quality on zoom
Disadvantages: only 48mb memory

FinePix F200EXR Introduction Photos. They?re everywhere these days! With the advent of social networking, camera manufacturers are doing a roaring trade selling digital cameras to the masses. The masses that are dead set on trying to outdo their friends with the quality and quantity of photos on sites such as facebook. I was fortunate enough to get the facebook bug some time ago and sailed along happily for months. But something was missing. Whilst all my friends and co-workers were busy uploading photos in the hundreds to their profile, detailing every aspect of their lives from holidays to family occasions, and even sometimes, photos I would deem wholly inappropriate to share with hundreds of ?friends?, I was stuck with only a few photos taken on my webcam or my phone. I decided it would be nice to start taking ...
