They are coloured black, it is a shame they are not some colour like hi-vis yellow, because if you drop one of these outdoors, you may never find it. If you look on various sites, you will find a lot cheaper, but I would suggest that at this price, you can not go wrong, and you will have the genuine item.
There are two types of these cards, M and H type. They each have a different method of digitally encoding, but that need not concern us, as they are completely interchangable and compatable.
For those who understand these things, the transfer rate is 5mb per second. They came ready to use, you don't need to format them first.

You will probably want to keep several of these with you, instead of just the one, that way when the card is full, you simply change cards and start snapping away again or hours.
I have never had cause to complain about these cards, in my opinion these are one of the better makes. Most cameras come with a small 16mb card just to start you off, but you will soon want to upgrade to a couple of bigger ones I feel sure.
You can either download your images to your comp, or take the card into the local Max Spielman* and get them printed while you wait. You can of course send the cards through the post, to someone without a PC so they can choose which pics they want.
The company does have a website with some nice graphics, and also some useful information.:- www.fujifilm.co.uk

I hope this review is of some use to you. Happy snapping!
Advantages: Truly unbelievable quality images Disadvantages: Lack of zoom facility
the image - it really was a great surprise due to the amount I paid for it! This software can display your images on a full screen slideshow, and can even create a CD (if you have a CD writer) so you can watch your images on a DVD player in the living room!!
Now, to the XDPictureCard. Don't sneeze, or you will lose it. It is absolutely tiny! The camera is supplied with a 16MBcard, which will carry about 25 highest quality images, or about 100 lower ones, and about 30-60 seconds movie length. However, do not fear! You can expand and upgrade! From many retailers and online stores, you can get an XDPicturecard, which is exclusive to Fuji and Olympus cameras, quite cheaply. You can buy 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MBcards. At last look, I saw a 128MBcard for £37, which can store about 200 top quality images or about 20 - 30 minutes of movie ...
