Advantages: Brilliant easy to use and you do get the windows xp disk Disadvantages: none really
...and within our budget.
We purchased 2 FS P4 computers with 80 GB drives 2.53 CPU's and ATI graphic cards for £998 all in but without any other warranty.
That was in 2003. I am now using this same FS P4 computer to write this reveiw.
The scaleo in that time has been brilliant and proved 100% reliable. The back-up disks you get with FS computers (Still to this day) are the only company as far I know who still give the Windows XP disk and a driver disk......None of this partition stuff on the hard drive. which is good and when you think about it if you have windows on the hard drive as a partition and the drive goes(even when new and it does happen) you are in a world of hurt.
Fujitsucomputers for us have been brilliant and as has been said already, when the warranty is up, you can upgrade them easy with plenty of room and they use good...

Advantages: looks fantastic Disadvantages: no problems so far
...Fujitsu Siemens hasn't placed a huge emphasis on style for the Scenic range. Fortunately, this isn't a big issue even now, as style usually comes fairly low on the agenda for business buyers: features, support and service should be the deciding factors, along with price and performance.
The Scenic E600 has plenty of the latter, with number crunching carried out by the Hyper-Threading 2.8GHz Pentium 4, while 512MB of PC3200 memory is supplied for handling large files. Intel's Extreme Graphics 2 shares 64MB of that half-gigabyte and offers an analog D-SUB output for connecting a monitor. A 40GB Samsung hard disk should provide enough storage, but it's outshone by Dell's 120GB disk.
Gigabit Ethernet is a bonus if your office network will take advantage, and it's backwards compatible with 10/100 networks in the meantime, while legacy...

Advantages: design and very qucik Disadvantages: no webcam on there
...all day.
It has few extra features, it has a built in 3 in 1 card reader which is handy, but it’s a shame to not see a built in webcam, not only because it’s a great feature, but I think it would look good on this laptop too, so that’s a shame.
Well this laptop defiantly is a great looking piece of equipment which also runs very quick too, and its also very cheap at £500. I think the main reason is because it’s a Fujitsu siemens and I think if this was labelled a dell, it would certainly be at least another £100 dearer.
That being said it doesn’t make it any worse quality as dells are, in fact I do prefer a lot of Fujitsu laptops over dells, so just don’t let the name put you off, ever....

This is a good example of a mid-range, mid-price lap top that will do what you need it to do, without over-spec-ing for the ordinary user, and costing more than you need to pay.

Over the past few months my son (14) and my daughter (10) have both become increasingly interested in the computer. They are both very much into BEBO and MSN and my son is using the computer more and more for his schoolwork. This is now causing no end... more
I honestly cant pick any faults with this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you’ve got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on.
