The SPARC64 VI processor consists of two SPARC V9 cores with two vertical threads per core. It's built with an advanced 90nm Cu 10-layer process technology for high speed and density. And what's more the SPARC64 VI processor is 100% binary compatible with the UltraSPARC processors - so there is no need to recompile. The SPARC64 VI processor is designed with vertical multithreading (VMT) technology. This is a coarse-grained multithreaded technology that enables the multithreaded control instructions to suspend idle threads so that the active threads can use any unused resources.
Advantages: good look, relatively cheap, dvd burner, 160gb hdd Disadvantages: not enough RAM, processor isnt that good
...I have this computer at home. its a great piece of machinery, although its a tad slow and i had the RAM double to now leave me with 2gb, i find that this processor, compared to that of the one in my office is slow. but for the price, this personal desktop computer is a bargain, it has great features, including a dvd burner, and a relatively large hard drive. the overall look of the computer is amazing, it looks like its worth a lot more money. building your own pc is probably a better idea, in terms of both the cost and the overall productivity of the machine. othen then that i think this computer is a fine piece of work at a bargain of a price (thats if you dont want to build your own)...

Mr Jack Phillips Review ofFujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFTby

Advantages: Initially appeared to be what I paid for. Disadvantages: Subsequently turned out to be a "Friday" machine!
...Initially very pleased with performance and versatility, but disappointingly the CMOS battery went on the blink about 2 weeks before warranty expired! Luckily I got it back to The Tech Guys - sent it on a Monday am via courier and it was back with me on the Wednesday am - replaced main board - so full marks to the Tech Guys, but not so many for Fujitsu 'cos it looks as if the hard disk is now failing and the warranty has just expired! Norton said a problem - "run a full scan" - that couldn't complete, so ran Chdsk and this stalled at 25% on stage 4.
Various phone calls and lots of chat to technicians have convinced me to replace the hard disk - Oh! and another black mark - no recovery disk came with the machine, so more trouble and expense in re-installing XP Pro and all data.

Advantages: looks fantastic Disadvantages: no problems so far
...Fujitsu Siemens hasn't placed a huge emphasis on style for the Scenic range. Fortunately, this isn't a big issue even now, as style usually comes fairly low on the agenda for business buyers: features, support and service should be the deciding factors, along with price and performance.
The Scenic E600 has plenty of the latter, with number crunching carried out by the Hyper-Threading 2.8GHz Pentium 4, while 512MB of PC3200 memory is supplied for handling large files. Intel's Extreme Graphics 2 shares 64MB of that half-gigabyte and offers an analog D-SUB output for connecting a monitor. A 40GB Samsung hard disk should provide enough storage, but it's outshone by Dell's 120GB disk.
Gigabit Ethernet is a bonus if your office network will take advantage, and it's backwards compatible with 10/100 networks in the meantime, while legacy...
