Well Myrica is a model of TV made by Fujitsu Siemens - who are better known for computers and IT infrastructure.
I used to be firmly of the opinion that most TV's are the same. I guess that was before I got a flat screen monitor for my PC. Since LCD screens have become cheaper to buy and have a much better longevity than they used to, they have taken off as PC monitors and in the last couple of years as main TV's too. Now I'm of the opinion that LCD & Plasma TV's have a far superior picture than the old-style CRT TV's and monitors that well all used to have.
In the debate as to whether you should buy LCD or Plasma then I, frankly, have no answers. I have friends that own one or the other, neither seems to have a better picture than the other and at the end of the day that's what we really want...

...I was excited to see Siemens and Fujitsu's name on the product, and how sleek it looked. The websites listed in the manual do not exist, the manufacturer does not have any support for this unit any longer.
It took me two days to make it work. Kept getting "maps not found" error message, found out the mini SD came with the unit was bad, and maps were not accessible. I had to reformat the SD, and reloaded the maps from the DVD the unit came with. It took 3 hours each time, to format and reload the maps. Once it started to work it is very cool. Attractive, fits in your palm, your pocket. Very very clear picture. Impressive it knows all the point of interests even if they are small restaurants....

I honestly cant pick any faults with this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you’ve got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on.
