i have been using this machine for 5 months so far, it has not brought me any trouble.
the first thing i want to say is the value of money. this is a good option for the people out there try to search high standard laptop,( well, i won't call it laptop because of the size ) normally,a laptop like this will cost you 1500 pounds at least.
secondly, the looking. it certainly looks not as good as apple G4 laptop althrough they are similar : )
thirdly, the performace. excellent , what else can i say. some people say alienware is the best gaming machine around the world,but they are talking in the world without this monster. if you spend same amount of money what kind of alienware can u have? you need to spend more than 1500 pounds if you want same standard from alienware and you still get a noisey fan.
at last,this is a good desktop replacement , it is not desiged for travel. the battery life is average, it runs about 2.5 hours if you keep it rinning for some small programme such as IE, but it only holds one hour if you are playing game.
Now they have even better model Amilo D 1840, which is P4 3.2GHz, 512MBDDR, R9600 video card and it only cost 1082 pounds from dabs. check it out. the new model can eat up all the games available in the market . SAME GOOD VALUE
