I currently own this laptop and it is great for internet, im, e-mail and some basic programs, however this laptop does have a flaw which is the fact that it dosent really have the power to play games that well. This laptop comes with Windows XP home basic operating system. Another big point to make about this laptop is the RAM as it says it comes with 256mb, which yes it does however 64mb of this is used up for the video card which is pre installed so you don't really get a choice. This laptop has a 20gb hard drive which isn't very good by todays standards, so if you do buy this then get an external hard drive. The processor speed isn't to bad at 1.5 GHz, which is surprising considering the other attributes. I personally have no problem what so ever with the sound card as i have never had any sort of problem with it. The display type of this laptop is 15" TFT active matrix, and the maximum resolution is 1024 x 768 ( XGA ) but unfortunately is dosen't have widescreen display. I think the battery life on this laptop is very good as if you set it to max battery then you can get about 3 and a half hours out of it. It comes with a 1 year warranty which is always good. Overall i think this laptop is great for basic applications but just don't try and use it for anything too complicated!
