This is a great notebook. The AmiloM3438G has a great 17" screen made by NVDIA GeForce Go 6800 and it is amazing. Wheather you want to use the notebook for word processing surfing the web the display is amazing. But the one thing that really makes the display on this laptop stand out is when you are using it for games. When playing a game on this screen not only have you got 17" of pure NVDIA technology but the graphics are breathtaking.
Now the sound is also amazing and very clear. I have never had any problems when using it. Also the headphones quality is also very clear.
The laptop CPU is also amazing and can withstand a lot. You can run several high performing programs and still have very good quality. The speed of the laptop always stuns me.

...Over all, this is a nice laptop. Slim and sharp design by Fujitsu SiemensAmilo makes it much thinner than it actually is.
Intel PentiumM1.7Ghz, Front Side Bus 400 Mhz seems not to be very powerful but it is not slow at all. Games like Counter Strike or Warcraft will have no problem. I've tried running Counter Strike at 1024x748 and the result was awsome, 99 frames per second.
However, the mainboard and Bios are quite old. Intel 82855 doesn't support extending memory bandwidth for its Intel Extreme 2 Graphic Card like others do.
512 Mb PC2100 Ram doesn't seem to fit with the processor as its speed only at 266 Mhz. Replacing a new pair of Ram at 333 Mhz or 400 Mhz will give this laptop much more ability in multitasking and more chance to avoid crash.
The keyboard is also really nice, comportable, hard button and support...
