Advantages: A fast compact laptop with a great flat screen Disadvantages: Can get worryingly hot and the fan is a bit noisy
A good, quick laptop that is compact and light to carry. It looks the part, clean lines and easy to use touchpad. The 2G of RAM also makes this an economical option, but there is no problem with the quality of the product given it's low price.
The laptop does get quite warm after prolonged use, so I tend to ensure that it is switched off overnight, or not left for long periods. My techno-dunce of a partner and 7 year old son are happy to use the ... ...anywhere in the house with the wireless broadband capabilty.
The wide screen adds to your viewing pleasure and the product comes with Windows XP but is Vista compatable.
The sound does not go too loud which can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on who is using it.
The start up and applications are very quick and have had no crashes to date and I have owned this laptop for several months now.

...it to be collected by fujitsu siemens. I heard the rattling again and decided to take a quick look myself by taking the upgrade slot off. To my horror i saw that a screw was loose inside the case, it hadn't been put on properly at the factory. This would have been rattling around and shorting stuff out, causing all sorts of mayhem. I found where it went and fixed the laptop myself. I then had about 6 months of trouble free computing. Well almost ... ...you don't go anywhere near fujitsu siemens, they are a pile of crap. Go for a more reputable brand, and make sure your laptop has adequete cooling and build quality for the job. Also i would recommend staying away from Comet. They are quick to sell you something, then they wash their hands of the item. Trust me, they don't wanna know when something goes wrong. And as for fujitsu customer care, forget it. One tech support guy hung up on me because ...

this is a great laptop. i bought this product a few months go and i have had absolutely no problems at all, it has a cd/dvd rewriter which is fast and has many fuctions to optimise what you exactly want to achieve.
it has a great screen which is a clear as you will get with any laptop, and a touchpad which is very easy to get used to. the keypad is very comfortable.
it has wireless networking which is great for going on the web where ever you go.
... ...great if you need to quickly go on it for something instead of having to wait for ages for it to load.
every thing such as programs load instantly and i have never had it crash on me, yet!
it has alot of storage and alot of memory(ram) which makes it very fast.
it has a built in card reader which is handy for attaching you camera memory card to, to view you pics.
the video quality is great, which is another bonus
the sound isnt bad quality but ...
