Ok, well this is going to be a pretty harsh review because to be honest, i really don't like this product at all.
speed
This laptop is a very slow computer due to the 256mb RAM and 40gb hard drive that came built in. However, if you are willing to dish out some extra cash you can add more RAM and install a bigger hard drive although if you want to fork out the extra cash then you would be better just buying a different laptop instead with a bigger RAM and hard drive.
Look and Feel
This laptop actually looks ok really. For the age of the laptop, it was one of the better looking laptops for its age but with the more modern laptops, there are a lot more better looking models out there. However, I have had a problem with the keys. Quite a few of them have fallen off which hasn't been a big plus anyway. I do however like the black and silver colour scheme of this laptop.
Comfort and Portability
Well I would like to say some nice words about how it's a nice light and easily portable laptop but I can't. This laptop is a heavy and cumbersome laptop. It is more of a desktop than a laptop. It's not the best laptop but for the price, its ok. Not a laptop for the people that like to take their laptop with them everywhere.
Robustness and Durability
This is where the laptop really loses a lot of points. This is not the best of laptops for its robustness or durability. One problem I have with mine is that the fan keeps on uncalibrating itself and the blades scrape along the casing creating a horrible noise. Another problem I have had is that the keyboard no longer works so I have to use an external keyboard to type. This also decreases the portability a bit.
Value for money
As this laptop is getting a bit old and outdated, it is possible to get a really cheap one. However, due to the major faults of the laptop, I wouldn't spend my money on this laptop.

Advantages: Big screen, decent processor Disadvantages: Low amount of RAM (reports as 192mb because of shared graphics)
Very good laptop for the money, decent specs, runs sluggish due to low ram, would recommend adding another 256mb/512mb DDR2 stick, not really up to playing games due to old technology graphics (no pixel shader or hardware T&L) dvd's play very clear, fantastic for web browsing and listening to music (speakers a bit tinny, very good through headphones). Have had good experiences with this laptop. No extra features, no bloatware pre-installed on the ... ...only gripe with that is there is no dvd codec so you need to install a third party dvd player (lots of free ones found on the internet). Not managed to use the wireless internet yet but does pick up a lot of signals around here. Battery lasts 1 hour 12 minutes normally, listening to music/having wireless on takes it down to around 50 minutes, overall brilliant laptop, deffinately recommend unless you want to play games. Advantages: Speed, Excellent support for Linux, Great memory, Very nice looking Disadvantages: It comes with Microsoft's Windows
This is the best laptop ever! Great performance and very good support for the open source platforms like Linux. The only pitty is that there was issues with ACPI and Linux(Slackware Linux had a problem controlling the RPM of the fan).
It's got very fast memory(ddr2) and a nice big TFT screen. There wasent anything bad about this laptop. I would recommend it to anyone. The hdd is great too. If you want to can have a look at a tutorial I have written ...
