I do not know how much this laptop cost as my dad bought it as a present for me, what I do know was that it was around the £400 mark, probably a lot lower than that. This laptop is a quality product for the price. It can run programmes very well and is fast. It has a wide screen which I find very good for watching anime or films on. The battery life doesn't last too long, doing the minimum on it without the charger in - ie. writing on word - will keep you going for around an hour, while doing something such as playing a game will leave you with much less power. The keyboard is pretty simple, with the volume and brightness buttons as second function buttons on the F8-F11 keys. At first, as I was getting used to changing from a wide PC keyboard to a compact laptop keyboard I pressed the wrong buttons such as page down or page up which proved to be a bit of a problem as they are next to the enter button, but this would perhaps happen with any laptop keyboard for me. The laptop includes an external floppy drive, a DVD/CD burner, for all those who like to watch DVDs and want to burn various things to disc. It has four USB ports, two on the left hand side, and two on the right hand side at the back, they are quite useful to be placed in different places as different wires and different things can be placed either side of your laptop. The laptop is VERY quiet, the fan comes on every so often, which isn't loud at all, then will turn off for a while, which leaves it silent. The fan is placed on the right side of the laptop, which is good as it doesn't burn your legs if you have it on your lap for a little while. The overall look of the laptop is excellent as it is sleek and designed well for the user. I have had mine for about a year now, and I havn't had any faults with it so far with the technical details, however one of my USB ports on the side of the laptop has broken, but that is most likely because I have a puppy which knocks things about. The laptop got to me in perfect condition, and came with windows XP installed. If you are going to buy a laptop, i highly reccomend this one, as being from a technical family, (my dad builds and repairs PC's) I know that this laptop will be good for anyone on a low budget, looking for a quality laptop that will last a long time, someone who doesn't know much about laptops or someone who knows alot. The laptop generally runs fast, and if you keep it defragmented every now and again you will be happy with the performance. The only problem i find is that I have so many pictures and music files and games that I end up having to delete things to put new programs on as I run out of hard drive space. But that all depends on the user, so make sure you have the right amount of hard drive for yourself.

Welcome to Ciao. A good start here but how much did you pay for it and some more details would definately attract future consumers such as the feeling of it - quality wise whats the keyboard like, is it easy to navigate? Does it have risers at the back so that the laptop can be elevated at an angle? Most laptops have brightness controls, the important features, if this is a budget laptop could include DVD burner, DVD player combo - so does this have the facility? Is it noisy in use?
