This is the FujitsuSiemensAMILO Xi 2528. It is a laptop designed for entertainment purposes whilst still being very cheap in price.
FujitsuSiemens are well known for their cheap laptops, and are also quite well known for making basic laptops and therefore don?t really have the best reputation in the market.
However that is all changing now, instead of sticking to the mold of cheap basic laptops, there branching out and are starting to make ultra portable laptops that compete with sonys, and dells whilst being a lot cheaper too. They are now also making entertainment laptops with great specifications and features that come in at just a fraction of the price of some of its competitors and the AMILO Xi 2528 is one of these.

In the box
In the box which you are given you have initially the laptop. The laptop is safely secured and fastened down by some tight plastic sheeting.
On the outside of the sheeting you have the power connector and you have underneath the laptop plenty of manuals. The manuals are guides on how to use the laptop and also information about registering your laptop online.
There is also a few discs included and one of them is a power management disc which is to be used when you need drivers reinstalling on the computer which might be lost and the other disc is for you to install some programs which might have gone missing as well.
All of these items are securely packaged and in a very solid box.

hardware for it too like a printer as there might not be a sutible vista supported driver out to support it. So i highly recomend sticking with Windows XP which is preinstalled on this laptop.
This laptop is equipt with 1gb ram which is more than enough and will stop pc slowing down and freezing up. Which can later be upgraded to 2gb but you will have to spend money out of your pocket.
Now the graphics card may not be one of the best but if you are not planning to play the latest games then this shouldnt be a problem. Drivers for this laptop can be downloaded via ATI(AMD) site or fijitsu siemens as standalone drivers may not be compatible with it.
Finally it has got 80gb hard drive space which os great for a laptop if u wish to have more you could purchase some more or buy an external hard drive.
