With customer demand came customer satisfaction. No longer do we need loads of everything when nowadays you can put it all in one box Why buy more than you need eh? Exactly! So why buy a CD-RW and a DVD-Rom when you can get all you need in one machine, just like this Samsung CD-RW/DVD-ROM. It makes sense to buy this because look at the money your saving instead of buying 2 drives. Now you can free up a drive bay on your PC and utilise it a lot better e.g. why not put a DVD burner in to go with your new DVD-ROM. Making back-ups 'on-the-fly' is a dream with the Samsung. ...Attracted by the adverts for www.underagrand.co.uk in the newspaper, I recently ended up buying a Fujitsu-Siemens PC from Nice PC. £999 inc VAT plus £30 delivery was a good price for a good-spec machine. 1GHz PIII, 256Mb RAM, 40Gb hard disk, CD-RW, DVD-ROM drive, 32Mb Geforce 2 graphics card, 17-inch monitor, Windows ME and a fistful of software. Delivery took less than a week and I was a very happy bunny -- until I tried to switch the machine off. Everything was great about the computer except for two things. It would not restart (using option in the Windows Start menu) without given a blue-screen-of-death error message, which required the whole machine to be switched off.
