...What can I say about this laptop that has not been said about Iraq. 3 Days ago a friend of mine brought me this Fujitsu masterpiece as he the whole thing cleaned and Wndows XP SP2 installed on it. I had to try very hard to do it. At first a very classical problem the Sata HDD would not be located. I had to modify the Windows installation CD with nLite to make this work. Then it just would not recognize the sound card and graphics card no matter how hard I tried. I thought downloading the newest drivers should do perfectly, but God knows how wrong I was. This notebook is like the worst nightmare if you are looking to change or reinstall the operating system. It is the compilation of everything that I hate. Every component, every detail on it. ...configuration without changing their user manual. Fujitsu have been giving me the run around right from the start on this...first denying that the user guide wass wrong...then admitting that there was a mistake but still not willing to make it right. To add insult to injury they then charged my credit card for the full amount when i tried to buy a 2G chip, even though the module was back ordered for at least 4/5 weeks. When i protested they said this was standard practice with internet ordering! not with other companied i have ordered from! I will not buy from Fujitsu again...this kind of customer service i dont need!!... Read review

...I bought this product for school work as i entered the sixth form, however on the side i really did need a good laptop as i do a lot of photo editing and web building using incredibley demanding pieces of software like Adobe CS3. I had a small budget of about £400, and was wanted the most for my money. The laptop has surprisingly good spec with a core2duo processor and 256mg ATI radeon graphics card this laptop has much better spec than others in its price range, i have had dht elaptop about 6 months and had one major problem when my bios battery had to be replaced due to a factory error only effecting mine, however the laptop went away for only 1 week a short time considering it went all the way to germany. It ispretty damn quick this laptop and is prbably the best in a price range of at least up to £500. Its a shame it has no memory... Read review
