...This processor is great. Due to the fact that it is made on 45nm technology it has idle temperatures of about 29 degrees. It also also has great overclocking capabilities. Personally i have managed to overclocking to 3.5gGHz without any problems or voltage changes. Intel recommends a voltage of 1.225 volts. When compared to the Q6600 this processor might fall behind but at the moment hardly any problems utilize all 4 cores and the the moment 2cores is enough. However if you are willing to spend another £20 -£30, i would recommend but the q6600 because in the future programs will take advantage of the four cores. The heat sink provided in the box is better than i expected, it hardly made any noise.. There is not much AMD can offer at the moment with the same price and speed....

This is a great laptop from the brand apple that broughts us the ipod and iphone products.This is a apple macbook which runs on apple's own runing stystem and dosn't use the classic microsoft software or programmes.
This laptop has a huge 13.3 inch tft screen which is big for a portable laptop. It has built in coreduo technology ehich means that the computer has 2 processor chips causing the computer to run alot faster and smother than normal.
There is 1gb ddr 11 ram built in and a massive 160gb hhd hard drivbe which means you can store a lot of music,videos,files and software on the computers hhd.
The macbook apple laptop looks very nice with its great design and style.The shell colour black make this pc stand out and it looks very modern.

Advantages: Cheap, fast and cool Disadvantages: it's not a quad core, £130 may be too much for some
...It took a while for Intel to wake up and smell the prices of AMD shares recently (AMD being Intel's main competitor). After years of AMD taking bite after bite out of Intel's market share with innovative, efficient, fast and affordable processors, Intel finally did something about it and released the Core2 processor. The dual and quad core CPU's completely blew AMD away and AMD still haven't caught up two years later.
The Intel Core2E8400 is the latest revision of the Core2 processor with 6MB cache as opposed to 4MB of it's predesssor mid range chips like the E6400 and E6600. The speed has been bumped up too with the E8400 coming in at 3Ghz. Speed isn't everything of course but as the Core2 architecture is so efficient, you get massive speed boosts as you ramp up the Mhz.

This processor came with my new computer just over a month ago,
and so far, I've been more than impressed with it.
The system I baught uses Vista, has 1GB of RAM, a 250GB harddrive and an Nvidia 8600GT graphics card.
