Fujitsu Siemens DVD SuperMulti

Advantages: Good value, high spec
Disadvantages: Two faults, both fixed reasonably

...I bought my T Bird in November 1999 from Sainbury's and since then it has worked very well apart from two faults. The hard disk failed within a month (due to a bad batch apparently) and also within the warranty period the DVD drive stopped reading DVDs (but continued to work with CDs) On both occasions the service was completed reasonably and as these two products were not specifically Fujitsu I put them both down to 'another company' I would certainly buy from Fujitsu again and notice that the same model (but with faster processor and larger HD) is being sold through newspaper adverts by a company called Under a Grand. Advantages: intel pentium 4 3.4 GHz, ATI graphic card, read and write DVD's and CD's, 6 USB sockets
Disadvantages: in my opinion there aren't any.

It is very fast and reliable computer it great for home uses also its compatible with the new operating system windows vista. it has a big hard drive 232GB which can store a lot of pictures, videos, music, movies etc... the graphic card is made by a very popular company ATI. the processor is also made by a very popular company intel, this processor is very powerful one intel pentium 4 3.4 GHz. it has a lot of usb sockets two at the front and four at the back it also has a card reader that can read SD, MS, CF/MD, SM, and MMC which is very useful if you have a digital camera. this computer can read and write DVD's and CD's. Advantages: Great Value for money, plenty of features.
Disadvantages: Proccesor too slow to handle with gaming.

...This is my first laptop, and so i did not want to splash out £600 plus on an ultra top of the range laptop. This was recommended to me by a friend, and i find it a superb mid range laptop. Mind you, i would not recommend it to anyone who wants to play high graphics games, but it is a superb computer for browsing the internet and reading emails. The brightness of the screen is very good, and the battery life is acceptable. But you can not ask any more from a laptop that only costs £300. It has a CD/DVD player, and has an inbuilt wireless adapter. I would definitely recommend this to someone who does not want to hammer their computer, but surf the web and check their emails.
