Disadvantages: can be a bit slow

...this is a great computer for the price with a very good spec, i bought one of these a few months ago for a customer and they have had no problems with it at all, for the money this is a very good computer and well worth a look. i also think that it is a good sized machine and will fit in wherever you want it to. there is one disadvantage how ever but it is a very small one, the customer i got this for did mention that the performance did drop a fair amount once she had installed a fair amount of programs but that is to be expected i guess, you cant buy a computer and expect it to run full speed for the rest of its life, all in all this is a very good computer for the money... ...Most people looking for a laptop will have an idea that the speed of a machine in MHz or GHz will have a direct impact on performance. True, but if you take this to the extreme like a lot of people and base your buying choice on ourely speed, you may fall into the V7010s trap. The Celeron D CPU in this laptop runs at a smooth 2.53GHz, which will certainly appeal to a lot of people on paper. But be in for a surprise when you power the machine on for the first time.... To me the Fujitsu felt slower than my Compaq Armada M700 running at 1GHz with only 128MB of RAM, although both of them ran XP Home Edition. The speed is only the first shortcoming of the V7010, as you will find out shortly. Disadvantages: in my opinion there aren't any.
