...Sony VAIO BX61MN - Core 2 Duo T5270 1.4 GHz - 15.4 This is a great laptop manufactuered by one of the best electrical brands around sony. The vaio range is a top computer brand which delivers quailty, fast, stylish and high proformanced pc and laptop computers. This model is competivley priced at around £455 which is very good as similar models are around eight to nine hundred pounds each. With it's intel Centrino Duo [dual core] processor your going to get a fast proformance. It has 1gb ddr ram which has the capity to deliver quick computer and internet connection speeds. There is also a massive 120gb hard drive which means this laptops has plently of storage for buisness or home use. ..." (OS10.5) disk since the display model I had bought had the old "Tiger" 10.4.10. Since I work with multimedia and am very impressed with the software delivered with iLife (disk included with the Apple products) I was disappointed to see that most of the items which are of use, do not work using Leopard. So I returned to the older Tiger and this is the system that I am presently testing. With only 1GB of memory I believed that the applications may be a little slow but actually everything seems to be operating as usual. My old Titanium runs at 400MHz and so with the present speed of 2.16GHz I expected an increase in speed but should have known that there would be no change. Software takes just as long to start up, close down and granted I can run several enormous programs parallel, nothing actually is any faster. Points of comment 1... Read review

...without spending a silly amount on a laptop. For example, you could buy a 3 gb or even 4 gb of ram laptop, however these would go over the £1500 or even £2000 mark. Whereas this laptop only costs around £500 which for 2 gb of ram is a great price. Its doesn’t disappoint in hard drive space either, as it delivers a very impressive 160 gb of storage for all your files to be saved on. I certainly have never needed a laptop with more than 160 gb and have never even filled a laptop with over 80 gb of data before, however its always good to know you can basically put whatever you want on your laptop and the space will never run out. The screen size of this laptop is 15.4 inches. Which is around the average, and will be ok for basic laptop needs. Its not a great size for watching movies on however, and you might find it a little small... Read review
