...The performance from this laptop is quite remarkable. Vista has also been installed and ran acceptably. Being an AMD procssor, these laptops double up as useful hand warmers on those cold days. Although the performance of these laptops are good, I have had doubts with the screen quality and the warranty system. The Hinges on these laptops are quite stiff and can actually lock when opening or closing the lid. The screen itself within the plastic surround has no horizontal reinforcement strips as seen on 99% of other screens. Fujitsu will not warranty this flaw in the design as I have found out. My solution was to purchase a new OEM screen which has the reinforcement strips and to regularly oul the hinges. When these laptops overheat (and trust me it will), the processor will cook and even though its under warranty, Fujitsu...

This P4 still has the 2.53 Cpu but I have installed ATi 256 Meg Graphics, Creative 7.1 sound, 2x 160GB hard drives and 1GB momory. Only thing I did enhance was the cooling. And there was 3 80mm cut out already there......
I would recommend Fujitsucomputers and if you can get a P4 scaleo model buy it. A lot of friends have now purchased Fujitsucomputers on my recomendation and to date no problems.
All in all the scaleo and Fujitsu are brillant packages....

...This is a computer which has all the specs which a latest computer has. It has a dual core processor which is a very fastest processor. even though its a single processor with 1.6 it works as a two processors ( Dual Core) which means it provides the amount of speed as a processor with 3.2 (1.6 x2 ) GHz. The disadvantage is it does not come with a monitor, and it doesnt have a proper graphics card there fore not suitable for a gamer. But this is a good PC but the money is bit too much. you can get a PC with higher specs than this form DELL for no or very little extra cost....
