Advantages: You get to really struggle with the Mic settings. Disadvantages: Trying to get the Mic. to work reallt takes up all your free time
...I am connected to Skype but cannot get the Microphone to work properly on my FujitsuE8020D which is 2 weeks old as at 12 August 2006. The driver detects the Microphone being plugged in but the Mic does not work properly.
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please contact me at hfester@vodamail.co.za
What bothers me most is that when I contacted the company whom I bought this laptop from ( Annex in Midrand South Africa), they told me they do not offer support. So much for offering 3 YEARS warranty and they cannot even offer me support 2 weeks later. DISGUSTING.
Yet the 3 identical laptops which is approx 6 months old works fine except for the 3 purchaed within the last 2 months.
Please email me if anyone knows how to solve this problem.
Thank you

Advantages: cheap, easy to use ,all your internet need, good dvd rom/cd-rw Disadvantages: quite slow on start up
...Ive had this laptop now for about a year and i havent had anything wrong with it but to be honest it isnt the best laptop in the world as it is abit slow when loading up and it could do with a bigger hard drive as it only has a 20gb. but if you only want a laptop to go the internet ,read your e-mails and to watch and burn dvds i would highly recommend it to anyone and as it is a bit old you can get one for around £149.99 which is realy cheap for a laptop which to be honest isnt that bad! and im sure if you have a look on ebay you could get one fo around £70 which would be a bargin! so if you are looking for a laptop which is cheap and does all the your internet , email and media needs you need to get yourself a Fujitsu SiemensLifeBook C1110....

Had this for a while now its very impressive item. battery lasts for about 5 hours fully charged and if that is not long enough for you you can remove the CD Drive and put in its place a extra battery. The laptop handles XP like a dream. it has all the usual things laptops have vga sound,2 usb ports firewire, and it even has a compact flash this is a very good idea for removable storage. The two speakers on the fron tof laptop are very loud and are very high quality as you would expect from realtek ACL202.
only trouble i had with this is my fingers are quite big and the keyboard is small but you...
