Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook E8420

Advantages: cheap, easy to use ,all your internet need, good dvd rom/cd-rw
Disadvantages: quite slow on start up

...Ive had this laptop now for about a year and i havent had anything wrong with it but to be honest it isnt the best laptop in the world as it is abit slow when loading up and it could do with a bigger hard drive as it only has a 20gb. but if you only want a laptop to go the internet ,read your e-mails and to watch and burn dvds i would highly recommend it to anyone and as it is a bit old you can get one for around £149.99 which is realy cheap for a laptop which to be honest isnt that bad! and im sure if you have a look on ebay you could get one fo around £70 which would be a bargin! so if you are looking for a laptop which is cheap and does all the your internet , email and media needs you need to get yourself a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110.... Advantages: Good specs, portable, cheap
Disadvantages: Bad customer service

...would send some disks that would put this right. So I turned off the Laptop to wait for the disks which, still have not arrived 1 week later. When I decided to turn the Laptop on again it came up with a message saying Disk Error, press any key to continue, I pressed any key and the same message was repeated several times but the Laptop would not start. I again phoned Fujitsu/Siemens and was told that it was to be returned to Comet for refund or replacement, but that they had to have a copy of the reciept from the manager at comet to send the code needed for this to hAppen. So I had to phone Comet to get this done, this was completed the same day( Thur), but no number was sent to Comet until the following Mon, this was when I finally decided to ask for a refund. I have not been able to asses how good this Laptop was, but can say honestly... Read review

Advantages: Reliable, good for work
Disadvantages: Cannot play high end games

...As always, a computer is supposed to be chosen by its owner to cater to his or her needs. In this case, the Fujitsu Tablet T4215 is catered towards work and is incapable of playing high end games. It has the tablet function, useful for taking notes (i use this a lot, mostly to doodle :D) and the keyboard at a favourable layout, meaning that all the keys are within reach and easy to press, you do not have to over stretch. The screen is smaller than laptops of other models or brands, but it is sufficient if all you are going to do is write reports and surf the net. However, I find that the tablet screen scratches easily after you use the tablet pen on it for a while, so it is best to buy a screen protector. Other than that (and the fact that after a while it gains a lot of scratches, probably my fault), it is a good notebook... Read review
