Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S7110 - excellent build quality!

Advantages: Low profile, solidly built, reliable
Disadvantages: Screen Resolution, expensive but value for money

I have owned and used this Fujitsu S7110 Lifebook laptop since November 2006. The display is sharp and clear and the keys have remained in good working condition despite having a daily pounding. The Intel Centrino Duo cpu and 1Gb ram mean that under Win XP Pro, the system is responsive and capable for most office applications, any internet use and simple gaming. Even watching a film on DVD is acceptable quality especially when using stereo headphones. With an 80Gb HDD, there is sufficient room for the OS, application software and the inevitable multimedia collection of photos, videos and audio. The laptop, made in Germany, is solid, feels substantial, with an attractive silver frame to the low profile screen and keyboard casing. The Fujitsu power management utility does a great job of extending the battery time. I had to obtain ...

GREAT Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110

Advantages: cheap, easy to use ,all your internet need, good dvd rom/cd-rw
Disadvantages: quite slow on start up

Ive had this laptop now for about a year and i havent had anything wrong with it but to be honest it isnt the best laptop in the world as it is abit slow when loading up and it could do with a bigger hard drive as it only has a 20gb. but if you only want a laptop to go the internet ,read your e-mails and to watch and burn dvds i would highly recommend it to anyone and as it is a bit old you can get one for around £149.99 which is realy cheap for a laptop which to be honest isnt that bad! and im sure if you have a look on ebay you could get one fo around £70 which would be a bargin! so if you are looking for a laptop which is cheap and does all the your internet , email and media needs you need to get yourself a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110. ...

Review of Fujitsu LIFEBOOK C1110

Fujitsu T4215

Advantages: Reliable, good for work
Disadvantages: Cannot play high end games

As always, a computer is supposed to be chosen by its owner to cater to his or her needs. In this case, the Fujitsu Tablet T4215 is catered towards work and is incapable of playing high end games. It has the tablet function, useful for taking notes (i use this a lot, mostly to doodle :D) and the keyboard at a favourable layout, meaning that all the keys are within reach and easy to press, you do not have to over stretch. The screen is smaller than laptops of other models or brands, but it is sufficient if all you are going to do is write reports and surf the net. However, I find that the tablet screen scratches easily after you use the tablet pen on it for a while, so it is best to buy a screen protector. Other than that (and the fact that after a while it gains a lot of scratches, probably my fault), it is a good notebook ...
