Advantages light, good battery

Disadvantages graphics

the lifebook is a good student tool if you the most you will do is work and light gaming, but if you are a kick back gamer then the lifebook will not please you. 1.8Ghz and 512mb struggles a bit.

1.8 Ghz (gigahertz, what speed of computers is measured in, fastest is around 3.2) is ok for a laptop but their isnt much to compare with as as soon as you get the product in your house they will have something faster on the shelves.

512 MB (megabytes) is standard but it may be a bit slow for gamers. most games do run on it.

the lifebook comes with a 4 year (collect and return) manufacturer gurantee which is good, just in case, they will pick it up and drop it off, but it still needs insurance because this warranty covers flaws not damage.

. switching it from notebook to tablet is not a problem, and there is not much lag or delay when doing so, just swivel the screen and click down, i have heard some people say that the hinge feels weak and what not, but i thing it feels safe enough.

the added CDRW drive comes in very handy, compared to other notebook/tablets which dont have it, it doesnt add much weight but the tablet is not something that you can just stand and use.
seeing as floppys are history something to save work onto is good, saves on a USB stick.
the cdrw makes the T4010 a bit more appealing as it gives you the option of being able to make copies of your disks and music onto writable or rewritable disks.

the built in mic and speakers are good, speach recognition was a bit of a problem to set up, but after a runing the training for a bit it was fine. It just requires you to read some on screen text for a bit, and you can do it in chunks or for aslong as you want so it is not much of a problem.

the screen is very comfertable to use, ok to use outside but if it is very bright it can get hard to see the screen due to the touch sensitive layer.

one of my favorite feature, and should be or those on the move is 'hotswapping' instead of having to save and shut down to swap battery just pull it out and put another one in, how cool is that.
overall, great thing for work and play, so i do reccomend it, if you are a gamer then you know what your games need from your computer, if you know nothing about computers then this will not let you down.

Hi and welcome to Ciao! Sorry for not rating very highly, but you need to add a lot more detail in your review and explain terms that other people might not understand. A good plan is to read some other reviews that got high ratings to see what's expected. If you edit, drop me a line in my guestbook and I'll re-rate it for you. Good luck!
