Disadvantages: Once the call had been logged and agreed the repair was turned around very quickly

...After recently having a problem with A Fujitsu laptop which was still in warranty I recently contacted Fujistu to arrange to have the machine looked at. The problem with the machine appeared to be that the cable connecting the screen had fractured and needed replacing. After navigating the Support call system and speaking to several people regarding this fault we appeared to travel full circle and go back to the beginning explaining the fault and symptoms. Fujitsu seem to have a good support infrastructure and policy in place which just needs some fine tuning. They need to ensure that all information is relayed as required, and to appreciate that the users placing the call have different levels of experience. Advantages: Very small footprint / Ideal for limited space
Disadvantages: Only 3 PCI Slots and 1 Eisa (Shared)

...Whilst recently updating Workstations on my LAN we recently have purchased several Fujitsu Scenic PC's. These machines have proven very reliable and efficient for the money that we have spent upon the units (£420.00 + VAT each) Considering that these machines are running PIII550 processors with 64Mb memory and a 10Gb hardrive as standard they can handle most basic office aapplications required in a general office enviroment. The unit comes with Windows 98SE pre-installed as standard, soundcard, keyboard and mouse. The only disadvantage that we have discovered with these machines is that they only have 3 x PCI slots and 1 x EISA slot making expandability a little probelamatic for certain hardware requirements, but overall for general value for money and reliability I would recommend this machine as excellent value for money... Advantages: You get to really struggle with the Mic settings.
Disadvantages: Trying to get the Mic. to work reallt takes up all your free time

...I am connected to Skype but cannot get the Microphone to work properly on my Fujitsu E8020D which is 2 weeks old as at 12 August 2006. The driver detects the Microphone being plugged in but the Mic does not work properly. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please contact me at hfester@vodamail.co.za What bothers me most is that when I contacted the company whom I bought this laptop from ( Annex in Midrand South Africa), they told me they do not offer support. So much for offering 3 YEARS warranty and they cannot even offer me support 2 weeks later. DISGUSTING. Yet the 3 identical laptops which is approx 6 months old works fine except for the 3 purchaed within the last 2 months. Please email me if anyone knows how to solve this problem.
