Design
The design of this computer is great. It is a mini stand up grey tower with a darker grey face at the front. Design
The design of this computer is great. It is a mini stand up grey tower with a darker grey face at the front. It measures 20cm X 43.5cm X 37.3cm The system looks sleek and modern with neon lights shining from the bottom and around the power button just off the bottom. It is also quite deep with the space to install extra drives and storage mediums, which would be great for the possibility of a future upgrade.
Processor
Almost all of the Scaleo P range provide the user with an Intel P4 processor with integrated HT technology creating faster speeds when trying to multitask.
RAM
The Scaleo P comes with 512mb of DDR Ram, which allows the PC to run smoother when using the larger programs and games. Again, there is room inside the machine for added memory.
Hard-drive
The hard drive installed is a standard Fujitsu 5200 rpm 80gb hard drive. This will be adequate for most games, programs and other media however it may not be so smooth when running the larger games. There is also room for an extra hard drive.
Graphics and Sound card
The graphics card is a standard 128mb graphics card. The computer is pre-installed with an up to date Intel Graphics Controller. Sound card is also a standard integrated sound card with support for dolby surround sound. Both cards are easily accssible in case of future upgrading.
Optical Storage
The Scaleo P comes with a standard DVD rewritable drive with space just below for another drive.
Monitor
The monitor is a 17" Fujitsu Siemens TFT monitor. With the screen resolutions that are available both old and new games will display perfectly.
Windows OS
The operating system installed is Windows XP home service pack 2. This the newest home operating system from Windows and has many new added features including new security features like firewall.
Price
Another important factor. I found one for £640 in the high street and so I believe you will be able to find one cheaper online if you search around.
Tech Support
The technical support group from Fujitsu Siemens are I would say only average. The phone hotline can take a long time to you to be answered and I have had one experience where I found them to be quite rude and abrupt. However if you use the online technicalsupport yourquerywill be answered quickly and they will try and assist you in almost any problem.
Overall I find this to be a great system. It has the specification needed to run nearly all programs and games and with further space for upgrades you will be able to meet all future requirements for a reasonable amount of time. The price I paid for this product is probably an average deal, however if you were to find this cheaper then you may well be picking up a great deal.

I first got the Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P computer around one and a half years ago. At the time the computer was vary good and suitable for our needs, however since then technology has moved on somewhat.
EASE OF SETUP
I was not the person to set up this computer however the family member who had set it up commented that it was the hardest computer to set up that he had ever encountered. I have recently tried to restore the computer to it's factory ... ...CONCLUSION
I feel that the Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P is a below average PC with it's ups and downs, and is really suitable for only small computing tasks. Advantages: intel pentium 4 3.4 GHz, ATI graphic card, read and write DVD's and CD's, 6 USB sockets Disadvantages: in my opinion there aren't any.

It is very fast and reliable computer it great for home uses also its compatible with the new operating system windows vista. it has a big hard drive 232GB which can store a lot of pictures, videos, music, movies etc... the graphic card is made by a very popular company ATI. the processor is also made by a very popular company intel, this processor is very powerful one intel ... ...sockets two at the front and four at the back it also has a card reader that can read SD, MS, CF/MD, SM, and MMC which is very useful if you have a digital camera. this computer can read and write DVD's and CD's.

We purchased 2 FS P4 computers with 80 GB drives 2.53 CPU's and ATI graphic cards for £998 all in but without any other warranty.
That was in 2003. I am now using this same FS P4 computer to write this reveiw.
The scaleo in that time has been brilliant and proved 100% reliable. The back-up disks you get with FS computers (Still to this day) are the only company as far I know who still give the Windows XP disk and a driver disk......None of this partition stuff on the hard drive. which is good and when you think about it if you have windows on the hard drive as a partition and the drive goes(even when new and it does happen) you are in a world of hurt.
Fujitsu computers for us have been brilliant and as has been said already, when the warranty is up, you can upgrade them easy with plenty of room and they use ...
