Advantages Great speed - tons of memory!

Disadvantages None that I have found so far!

Who'd have thought that something this clever could look this good?

The CPU comes in a stylish silver and grey casing, but what's more - it has three neon blue lights along the bottom! The power button is also lit up by a blue light! Talk about classy...

While we're talking about the front of the case... it has one DVD/CDROM drive (8x +&- DVD, and 32x CD), and space for another.

A nice feature is a floppy drive. "Who needs those these days?" - I hear you cry, well I agree, but no doubt, sooner or later you'll need one! There is also space for another floppy drive - I don't know why you'd need two, but I think it is possible to install a media card reader in this small space, so it's not such a waste of space after all.

There are two high-speed USB 2.0 ports on the front too, which is really handy when connecting a digital camera or memory stick for example.

Round the back... there are more USB 2.0 ports, four in fact - very useful for people like me who can't plug enough peripherals in! Also 2 PS/2 ports for the mouse and keyboard, ethernet, firewire and audio connections.

OK, now the machine itself... Fujitsu Siemens seems to have gone for the works when designing this CPU! It comes with:

- the latest Intel Pentium 4 HT processor at 3.0GHz
- 800MHz sidebus
- 1Mb cache
- 512Mb DDR RAM
- 160GB storage - surely that's more than enough for anyone!
- 128Mb ATIradeon X300 graphics
- 16-bit soundcard
- 56k modem
- Windows XP Home AND Microsoft Works 7.0

Obviously, this isn't top-of-the-range as standards keep changing, but for the regular home user, the specification is excellent!

I bought this myself about 2 weeks ago for the excellent price of £589.99 from Comet - this also came with an Acer 15" TFT monitor, a keyboard, mouse, and speakers. Talk about value-for-money!

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great machine at an affordable price!
