...I bought this laptop as a home machine and upgraded the memory for games use. The laptop has progressively got worse, although it didn't start that great. Depsite a few professionals trying to fix the problems, the laptop crashes within 10 minutes of every use and is therefore unusable. I have followed many other similar cases on the web, and in each case a few hundred pounds has been spent with no resolution to the problems. The overheating in very short time does seem to be the most common issue. Also makes it impossible to use on the lap. What is the point of buying a machine that doesn't work? I would never buy a Fujitsu Siemens product again. I have had good service from Toshiba and HP in the past and would buy from a proper manufacturer again in the future. ...card details and agreement to pay the basic £94 + VAT standard charge. After 2 days of phoning back and forth between their helpdesk and their repair centre (2 different companies who do not communicate with one another), I took my laptop to an indpendent expert who agreed that there was no damage and that it was a warranty fault. I have given my card details to Fujitsu in order that they will collect my laptop, but if they try to charge me anything at all, I will dispute the charge through my credit card. I'll let you know how I get on. In the meantime, the expert that I consulted told me that Fujitsu have previously only supplied to businesses, and it is only in the last 3 months that they have developed a range of "cheap" (I don't think so) laptops for the domestic market. Advantages: great speeds

...laptop looks really good, it's a combination of black and silvery white plastic body and this two tone colour makes it look really cool and modern. It features a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 Ghz processor which runs the 1gb of ram very well, and you'll be surprised at quite how fast this is, maybe its just how fujitsu makes their laptops, but this with only 1gb of ram seems a lot faster than some of the other brands of laptop iv come across which also had 1gb of ram installed. Another good thing about this is that the 1gb of ram can be upgraded to 2gb, however this is quite pricy and will usually cost over £50. However if you do need more ram and a quicker laptop all round then this might be something to think about. This laptop contains what seems to be the bear minimum of hard drive space these days.
